LAMBO SMASH & GRAB: Waterfront Chaos & a Shocking Arrest!

A search is underway for the driver of a white Lamborghini Urus following a hit-and-run incident along Toronto’s waterfront Monday evening. The incident unfolded near Queens Quay E. and Harbour St. around 7:15 p.m., leaving a female pedestrian with serious, though thankfully not life-threatening, injuries.

Police responded to the scene to find the victim already being attended to by paramedics, swiftly transported to a local hospital. The driver, however, had vanished, abandoning the scene and triggering a city-wide search for both the individual and the distinctive luxury vehicle.

The investigation temporarily closed eastbound Queens Quay at Yonge St., causing disruptions to traffic and public transit. Detectives meticulously examined the area for clues, hoping to piece together the events leading up to the collision.

A break in the case came later that evening when the Lamborghini Urus was discovered in a nearby underground parking garage. Despite locating the vehicle, the driver remains at large, and authorities are appealing to the public for assistance.

Meanwhile, a separate incident over the weekend resulted in assault charges for a demonstrator. The incident occurred near Bathurst St. and Sheppard Ave. W. on November 23rd, around 1:45 p.m.

A man walking on the sidewalk was reportedly approached by a demonstrator who intentionally obstructed his path. The situation escalated when the demonstrator allegedly assaulted the man, though fortunately, he sustained no physical injuries.

Police arrested Dina Sheikh Saleem, 43, of Mississauga, on Sunday while she was attending another demonstration in the same area. She now faces an assault charge and is scheduled to appear in court on February 7, 2026.

Both investigations remain active, and police are urging anyone with information regarding either incident to come forward. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers.
