TORONTO NIGHTMARE: Lamborghini, CRUSHED Driver & BLAZING Tent!

A frantic search unfolded Monday evening along Toronto’s waterfront after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that immediately fled the scene. Police responded to Queens Quay East and Harbour Street around 7:15 p.m., finding a woman with serious, though ultimately non-life-threatening, injuries.

The vehicle involved was identified as a striking white Lamborghini Urus, a luxury SUV that quickly became the focus of an intense investigation. Eastbound traffic on Queens Quay was brought to a standstill at Yonge Street, and public transit routes experienced significant disruptions as officers worked to locate the vehicle.

The search didn’t last long. Police announced later that evening the Lamborghini had been discovered in a nearby underground parking garage. However, the driver remained at large, and a description of the suspect was not immediately available.

The following morning brought another urgent call to Toronto Police, this time to the area of Markham Road and Select Avenue. A woman was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing, sparking a manhunt for the assailant.

Investigators described the suspect as a light-skinned male, approximately 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, a black puffer jacket, and distinctive blue shoes with white trim, fleeing the scene in a light-coloured sedan.

Just hours later, tragedy struck in Scarborough. A garbage truck driver was killed in a bizarre incident on Morningside Avenue and Sewells Road, struck by the very truck he was operating. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and the Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate.

The day’s grim events continued with a disturbing discovery in Etobicoke. Officers responding to reports of an assault near Lake Shore Boulevard and Eighth Street found a woman on fire inside a tent. She was immediately transported to hospital via emergency services.

Adding to the chaos, a police officer also required medical attention, sustaining minor injuries while responding to the scene. The investigation into the cause of the fire and the events leading up to it are ongoing.

Amidst these emergencies, police also reported an arrest stemming from a demonstration held last weekend near Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West. A 43-year-old woman from Mississauga has been charged with assault after allegedly interfering with a pedestrian and then physically attacking him.

Dina Sheikh Saleem is accused of approaching a man on the sidewalk during the demonstration and obstructing his path before assaulting him. Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any physical injuries. Saleem is scheduled to appear in court on February 7, 2026.
