Samsung has released an update to its browser for Galaxy Watch devices, introducing the ability to download images directly to the wearable.
The new feature activates when a user long‑presses an image on a webpage and selects “Download Image.” The file is then stored in the “Downloads” folder accessible from the browser’s home screen.
To use the function, the watch must run the latest version of Samsung Browser and support the update. Compatible image formats include PNG, JPEG, JPG and GIF, with a size limit of 10 MB per file.
The download option becomes available only after the web page has fully loaded, which may require a brief wait before the image can be saved.
The enhancement is designed to bring the Galaxy Watch browser experience closer to that of a desktop browser, expanding the device’s utility beyond basic navigation.
