Noctua, a renowned Austrian cooling supplier, has made a name for itself in the PC industry with its remarkably quiet brown fans. The brand's latest venture is a collaborative effort with Pulsar gaming mice, resulting in a unique product that combines innovative design with practical functionality.
Typically, Noctua's fans are designed to cool computer components, such as CPUs, GPUs, and radiators. However, the Pulsar Noctua Feinmann FO1 takes a different approach. Instead of actively cooling components, the mouse utilizes a small 40mm angled fan to cool the user's hand through the speed holes.
The mouse itself boasts a standard shooter configuration with two thumb buttons, a "carbon composite" body, an aluminum alloy wheel, optical switches, 42,000 DPI, and an 8,000Hz polling rate. While it lacks dedicated DPI and polling rate buttons, the wireless receiver provides buttons for these functions.
One of the mouse's unique features is the ability to manually turn the fan on or off with a combination of button presses and the scroll wheel, eliminating the need for additional software.
