Glen Hansard, 56, Irish singer‑songwriter, died after a motorcycle crash in Dublin early Wednesday morning. He was known for his heartfelt music and activism.
The accident occurred in Lucan, on the outskirts of Dublin, before 4:30 a.m. He was treated at the scene but was later pronounced dead.
