Fulham has made two significant additions to their team this summer as they look to rebuild and move forward after a change in management.
The Whites have parted ways with long-serving manager Marco Silva, who departed after a major summer of change. In his place, former Real Madrid youth coach Alvaro Arbeloa has taken the reins, and he's already making his mark on the team.
One of Arbeloa's first moves was to bring in Gonzalo Garcia, a 22-year-old midfielder with a promising career ahead of him. Garcia had interest from several top clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Fenerbahce, but ultimately chose to join Fulham for a reported €40m.
Another addition from Real Madrid is Cesar Palacios, a highly rated midfielder who could be a great asset for the Whites. Palacios, a fellow academy graduate, has joined Fulham for €10m, and with sell-on clauses in both deals, the club was able to secure their signatures.
