The family of 35‑year‑old Tyler Wilkin is seeking the individual responsible for his death, described as an execution‑style shooting.
Wilkin was shot in the back of the head while on a camping trip at Playa La Selva in Luquillo. His body was discovered on July 10.
Originally from Ohio, Wilkin moved to Puerto Rico in 2024 with his girlfriend and had been living there for less than a year.
A fundraiser has been launched to raise $30,000 to hire a private investigator to take over the case. The campaign states that the money will cover any expenses related to the investigation.
