Daniel Ogama Adongo, a former Kenyan NFL linebacker, was removed from the United States by immigration authorities in Chicago. The 37‑year‑old had played for the Indianapolis Colts between 2013 and 2015.
The 37‑year‑old entered the U.S. on a visa that expired in 2016. He had been recruited as a rugby player before joining the Colts. His stay beyond the visa expiration made him subject to removal.
Adongo has a history of criminal activity. In 2020 he was convicted of criminal mischief and sentenced to a year in jail. Other arrests include felony intimidation, battery, and disorderly conduct.
