The Championship League Snooker competition has entered its final stages, with eight players remaining in the hunt for the title.
Hossein Vafaei, Zhang Anda, Elliot Slessor, and Dylan Emery have emerged as top performers so far, with each player yet to lose across the two group stages.
While none of the final eight have won all three of their matches, Vafaei, Zhang, Slessor, and Emery have all demonstrated strong form, with Slessor and Jak Jones both boasting four centuries to their names.
The highest-ranked player remaining in the competition is world number 19 Elliot Slessor, who has benefited from the absence of several top players, including Zhao Xintong, Kyren Wilson, and Chris Wakelin.
In a surprising twist, Wilson was forced to withdraw after his house was burgled while he played his opening group.
The remaining players will compete in stage three, with the two group winners set to add £6,000 to their total prize money, while the runners-up will receive £4,000.
The final stage will see the top two players compete for a prize of £20,000, with the runner-up receiving £10,000.
The Championship League Snooker competition has a rich history, with previous winners including Kyren Wilson, Dave Gilbert, and Luca Brecel.
