Uber has expanded its services in Canada to include hotel booking, allowing users to reserve accommodations directly through the app.
The move follows a partnership with Expedia Group and marks the company’s second country to receive the feature after the United States.
Introduced during Uber’s annual product showcase earlier this year, the new capability aims to position the company as a comprehensive travel platform.

Users can now search for, book, and secure rides to and from a wide range of hotels, with plans to cover more than 700,000 properties worldwide.
Members of Uber One are eligible for up to 10 percent back in Uber credits on hotel bookings, which can be spent on rides or food delivery.
The app also offers additional travel tools, such as a concierge-style Travel Mode, global Uber One benefits, and a unified search function that spans places, food, and items.

The hotel‑booking feature is currently available to all Uber users across Canada.
