According to a recent OCTA Research survey, Senator Robinhood C. Padilla has emerged as the leading preferred candidate for the 2028 Senate race.
The survey reveals that Mr. Padilla achieved a remarkable voter preference rating of 53.9%, solidifying his position as the sole first-place candidate. Coming in second was Senator Rafael T. Tulfo with a 47.4% voter preference rating. Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter S. Cayetano secured 45.4% of voters' preferences, followed by former Senator Mary Grace S. Poe-Llamanzares with 44.5% and Pasig City Mayor Victor "Vico" N. Sotto, who garnered 42% of the vote.
