Pork shoulder prices fell 0.8% from the previous month, settling at 339.43 pesos per kilogram. Over the past year, the price has dropped 9.5%.
Regular-milled rice experienced a 0.7% decline, reaching 49.30 pesos per kilogram, while year‑on‑year prices climbed 18.6%—the largest increase among all items reported.
Refined sugar decreased 0.4% month‑on‑month to 82.53 pesos per kilogram, but has risen 2.7% compared to the same period last year.
Calamansi prices slipped 2.4% month‑on‑month to 100.73 pesos per kilogram, yet remain 9.1% higher than a year ago.
Tomato prices jumped 14.9% from the previous month, reaching 97.05 pesos per kilogram, and are up 23.9% year‑on‑year.
Round scad prices increased 3.7% month‑on‑month to 237.69 pesos per kilogram, with a 10% rise compared to last year.
Hawaiian ginger prices rose 1.3% month‑on‑month to 161.53 pesos per kilogram, though they have fallen 12.7% from a year earlier.
