The United States has announced plans to impose a significant tariff on goods from Canada, with a 50% levy set to be applied to a range of products.
The new tariff will affect many goods that currently comply with the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement, a trade pact between the three countries.
The tariffs are set to take effect in 30 days, after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order to implement the new measure.
