Minnesota Schools to Offer Transgender Dolls for Inclusive Learning

Minnesota Schools to Offer Transgender Dolls for Inclusive Learning

Starting this fall, Minnesota schoolchildren between the ages of four and ten will gain access toTransgender Dolls, thanks to a program funded by the Taxpayer money. Developed by experts at the University of Minnesota's Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, the dolls aim to help transgender and gender-nonconforming kids visualize their anatomy and gender identity options. These toys were inspired by the University of Minnesota's presentation of Governor Tim Walz with theDistinguished Sexual and Gender Health Champion Awardin 2023 for his exceptional work in protecting sexual and reproductive health care (PRO Act, HF 1) and promoting gender-affirming healthcare (Executive Order 23-03) in Minnesota. The school recognizes the dedication of the initiative's three faculty members.
