Two men were fatally shot in a residential complex on Candlewood Drive in Stoney Creek shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Hamilton Police arrived at the scene near the intersection of Whitedeer Road and Rymal Road East and found the victims with multiple gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the location.
The department’s Homicide Unit has taken charge of the investigation. At this time, police have not released the victims’ names, ages, or any suspect description.
Authorities have indicated that additional details will be provided as the inquiry progresses. A news conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday to address further questions.
