Talks between Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Youri Tielemans are at an advanced stage, with the midfielder poised to make a switch to Old Trafford.
Tielemans still has two years left on his contract with Villa, but the release clause in his deal means the club is resigned to losing their star midfielder.
The Belgium captain has been keen on a move to Manchester United, following his Europa League final win with Villa just months ago, where he scored the opening goal.

Tielemans will bring much Premier League experience to Manchester United, having previously starred for Leicester City, where he scored the winning goal in the 2021 FA Cup final against Chelsea.
Following Leicester's relegation in 2023, Tielemans moved to Villa Park on a free transfer and has been a key cog in Unai Emery's side, helping them qualify for the Champions League in two of the past three seasons.
He also enjoyed a productive World Cup, scoring twice in Belgium's remarkable comeback victory over Senegal, but missed their quarter-final defeat to Spain after picking up an injury in the warm-up.

Tielemans' exit will devastate Emery, who was already set to be without midfielder Amadou Onana after he tore his ACL at the World Cup.
This blow comes less than 24 hours after Villa hijacked Newcastle United's transfer for highly-rated Swiss midfielder Johan Manzambi, who is set to sign from Freiburg for £60m.
