Survey results reveal that Philippine businesses are increasingly viewing artificial intelligence as a catalyst for growth and innovation.
The study shows that 91% of enterprises hold a positive outlook toward AI adoption, with 57% actively exploring or implementing the technology.
Cloud migration remains widespread, as 74% of respondents have moved most or all of their information technology infrastructure to cloud platforms, and 95% intend to boost AI-related investments.
Companies cite innovation and new business opportunities as the primary drivers of AI adoption, a view shared by 68% of participants. Other motivations include cost savings and efficiency (54%), improved customer experience (51%), gaining a competitive edge (50%), and unlocking revenue growth potential (39%).
Despite enthusiasm, data privacy and security concerns top the list of barriers, reported by 51% of firms, followed by high implementation costs at 41%.
Respondents also expressed a growing demand for integrated AI and cloud solutions, with 45% preferring fully integrated offerings. Additional needs include industry‑specific customization, access to skilled AI talent, and more affordable AI products to support large‑scale adoption.
Large enterprises and small and medium‑sized businesses alike are driving AI uptake, particularly in the financial and retail sectors, which exhibit strong enthusiasm for the technology.
The survey, conducted among 1,000 information technology decision‑makers across eight Asian markets, assessed enterprises’ readiness to adopt AI technologies and the accessibility of AI solutions.
