A prominent British rapper faces a criminal trial for alleged sexual assault and rape following a night out in Perth.
The alleged victim left a party with the artist’s all‑male entourage at approximately 3 a.m., believing they were heading to an after‑party. Instead, the group arrived at the Intercontinental Hotel on Hay Street, where the alleged assault took place.
According to court testimony, a bodyguard confiscated the woman’s phone before she was escorted to a hotel room. Prosecutors contend that the initial encounter was consensual but quickly turned violent.

The victim reportedly asked the rapper to stop biting her, but he allegedly continued, instructing her to stop speaking, slapping her, and biting more forcefully. One bite reportedly broke the skin on her breast, requiring a tetanus injection at a hospital.
Further allegations describe the rapper holding the woman’s neck tightly for several seconds while demanding she utter derogatory remarks. The victim is said to have begun crying and, unable to extricate herself, complied with his demands.
Prosecutors allege that the rapper then raped the woman multiple times, including an anal assault, before ordering a burger through room service. As she prepared to leave, he allegedly made demeaning comments about her sexual performance and grabbed her breast while questioning her physique.

The woman reported the incident to police the following day and provided photographs of her injuries. The case is set to be heard over the next two weeks.
