A quiet stretch of Highway 410 in Brampton became a scene of chaos in the early hours of Wednesday morning, leaving one man fighting for his life and another vanished into the darkness.
The initial collision, involving a blue car and a silver vehicle, occurred around 2:20 a.m. near Clark Boulevard. As occupants of the blue car began to emerge, a terrifying sequence of events unfolded, turning a simple accident into a life-altering tragedy.
Just moments after the first impact, as the driver of the blue car stood beside his vehicle, a third northbound car struck him with devastating force. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, his condition described as critical.
Two other individuals from the blue car sustained injuries, thankfully described as relatively minor, and were also transported for medical attention. The scene was one of urgent activity as emergency services responded.
Adding another layer of mystery to the unfolding drama, the driver of the silver car fled the scene on foot. A widespread search is currently underway, with authorities determined to locate and question the individual.
