Joe Rogan unleashed a scathing critique this week, focusing on the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and the surprising redactions made by the Department of Justice. The core of his frustration stemmed from the discovery that names of potential participants in Epstein’s horrific crimes were deliberately concealed, even as some were revealed.
The initial unredaction of six names – Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, Nicola Caputo, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, and Leslie Wexner – came after Representatives Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie uncovered the omissions. However, the revelation quickly took a disturbing turn; four of those initially named appeared to be pulled from a standard FBI photo lineup, raising further questions about the process.
The most unsettling revelation centered on Les Wexner, the former CEO of Victoria’s Secret, identified as an Epstein co-conspirator. Equally disturbing was an email exchange between Epstein and Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, in which Epstein explicitly referenced a “torture video” he enjoyed. Bin Sulayem subsequently resigned from his position at DP World following the exposure of this communication.
Rogan’s outrage wasn’t simply about the names themselves, but the lack of transparency surrounding the redactions. He demanded to know why individuals implicated in such heinous acts were shielded from public scrutiny, questioning the logic of protecting those who weren’t even victims.
“The whole thing is crazy because, like, why, why have you protected people?” Rogan exclaimed, visibly agitated. He zeroed in on the Bin Sulayem email, repeating his bewilderment: “What the f*ck, man? And why is his name redacted? Why would your name be redacted if you’re not a victim?”
Rogan bluntly stated that the situation was damaging to the current administration, particularly given previous statements downplaying the severity of the Epstein case. He challenged the narrative that the scandal was a “hoax,” emphasizing the concrete evidence now coming to light.
He passionately questioned the rationale behind protecting certain individuals, asking, “If you’ve got redacted people’s names and these people aren’t victims, you’re not protecting the victims. So what are you doing? And how come all this sh*t is not released?”
Further complicating the matter, it was discovered that the Department of Justice also redacted the name of a political candidate who had corresponded with Epstein regarding a visit to his private island. Speculation points to Gwendolyn Beck, a former Congressional candidate who received funding from Epstein and has been accused by Virginia Giuffre of involvement in disturbing activities.
Despite these serious allegations, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has claimed this unidentified politician was, in fact, a victim of Epstein. This assertion has only deepened the mystery and fueled further demands for complete transparency regarding the Epstein files and the motivations behind the ongoing redactions.
