Priority bills: only one of eight reaches Palace after session

The House of Representatives gave final approval to the proposed Anti‑Political Dynasty law, completing its third reading. The measure now proceeds to the Senate for further deliberation.

The Presidential Merit Scholarship Program also remains under review, currently pending before the Senate Committee on Higher Technical and Vocational Education.

Both measures are identified as priority legislation by the President, who has expressed a desire for swift passage to benefit citizens. A spokesperson emphasized the urgency of expediting the bills. The administration aims to accelerate the legislative process to deliver tangible support.

The administration has not disclosed which of the pending initiatives will be highlighted in the upcoming State of the Nation Address.
