Meanwhile, in Burlington, a brazen robbery unfolded at Charm Diamond Centres within Mapleview Mall. Four individuals stormed the store on February 20th, wielding hammers to smash display cases and steal multiple pieces of jewelry.

A separate, harrowing incident occurred on February 18th at the intersection of Rymal Road East and Upper Wellington Street. A 44-year-old man was struck by a vehicle that ran a red light, leaving him with life-altering injuries.
