Maine Democrats Choose Troy Jackson as New Party Chairman

In Bangor, Maine, Democratic Party officials selected former Senate president Troy Jackson as their nominee for the U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Senator Susan Collins.

Jackson secured the nomination in a decisive convention vote after a strong showing at the recent delegate selection process across the state’s 16 counties.
