Universal Robina Corp. has secured major retail awards in Hong Kong for its Jack ’n Jill snack brand following targeted product launches in the market.
The company’s International Trading Operations team received the Outstanding Marketing Award and the Exclusive Co-Brand Award at the 2026 PARKnSHOP Super Brands Awards.
The awards recognize brands for market performance, consumer engagement, and collaboration with the supermarket chain.
The recognition followed the launch of products developed specifically for Hong Kong, including Jack ’n Jill Potato Chips in Sour Cream & Onion and Black Truffle flavors, as well as Tomato Crunchies.
The chief marketing officer said winning across both supermarket and convenience store formats proves the company’s consumer-centric approach resonates with the local market.
The executive noted the company is not merely exporting products but tailoring flavors and experiences to fit the unique preferences of Hong Kong consumers.
Earlier this year, Jack ’n Jill also received the Outstanding Sales Performance Award in the Potato Chips and Snack category at the 7-Eleven Top Brand Campaign Awards.
The chief marketing officer said growth in competitive markets relies on strong retail partnerships that co-create value and drive mutual sales growth.
Universal Robina has operated in Hong Kong since 1971, when it introduced Jack ’n Jill Potato Chips to the market.
Its current portfolio in the region includes Beef Crunchies, Roller Coaster, Dewberry, and Magic Flakes.
Shares in the company rose 1.15% to 61.40 pesos each on Thursday.
