The Seattle Center was the scene of a mass shooting incident on Sunday evening, with multiple people injured in the chaos.
Police and emergency crews rushed to the venue shortly after 6 p.m., as the Bite of Seattle food festival was in full swing.
The Seattle Police Department advised the public to avoid the area, citing an ongoing situation.
Police have not yet confirmed whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
An eyewitness described the scene as frantic, with people screaming and running for cover inside the Seattle Center Armory.
"Everyone was just throwing stuff and running," said the eyewitness, who was sitting outside the Armory at the time of the incident.
