Charley Marlowe, the narrator of “I Kissed A Girl,” posted a video from her final voice‑over session as the series reaches its conclusion.
Marlowe narrated both seasons of the show, while Layton Williams provided the voice for the companion series “I Kissed A Boy.” The franchise was cancelled earlier this year because of budget cuts, sparking disappointment among LGBTQ+ audiences and the program’s host.
Season two of “I Kissed A Girl” aired its final episode this week, featuring two couples in the concluding kiss‑off, with one couple remaining together after filming.

In the recorded video, Marlowe is seen in the sound booth delivering her sign‑off. Overcome with emotion, she pauses to wipe away tears before completing the narration.
She described her involvement as a career highlight and stressed the significance of queer representation, noting that the series set a precedent for visibility on television.
Layton Williams also recorded a farewell message for the closing episode, which revisited all four seasons of the “I Kissed” series. He admitted that delivering his remarks was difficult without becoming tearful.

Both performers expressed gratitude to the production team and affirmed that the demand for inclusive programming remains strong despite the show’s cancellation.
