Two U.S. service members were killed in action in Jordan on July 17 during defensive operations against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks.
One additional service member remains missing following the assaults on partner forces in the region.
Four American personnel were medically evacuated to hospitals in Jordan but have since been discharged. Others evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.

U.S. and partner forces have conducted strikes against Iranian missile and drone sites near the Strait of Hormuz for several consecutive days.
On Thursday, the United States carried out a sixth straight night of strikes as Iranian forces targeted locations in Jordan and Kuwait.
Operations continued into Friday, with another round of strikes launched at 3 p.m. Eastern Time, marking the seventh consecutive night of action.
The ongoing strikes are intended to degrade Iranian military capabilities under the direction of the Commander in Chief.
Out of respect for the families, officials will withhold the identities of the fallen and further details until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
