A violent altercation broke out inside a fast-food restaurant in Tempe, Arizona, sending customers scrambling for safety as a group of teenagers exchanged punches in the dining area.
The fight erupted around 7 p.m. local time on Monday at the restaurant location in Tempe.
Police confirmed that officers responded to the scene, but those involved had already left on foot and in vehicles by the time authorities arrived.
Video recorded inside the establishment shows several teens throwing punches and tackling one another to the floor while patrons rushed to move out of the way.
Witnesses noted that customers had been sheltering inside the restaurant due to an active monsoon storm at the time of the incident.
Investigators have spoken with staff and witnesses, and a follow-up investigation is currently underway.
The cause of the confrontation has not been disclosed, and the restaurant chain has not yet issued a public response.
The incident closely resembles a similar brawl that occurred in May inside a Chipotle restaurant in Washington, D.C.
In that case, teenagers dressed in black, some with hoods and masks, were seen throwing punches and hurling chairs while bystanders sought cover.
