Prepare to step inside the worlds you’ve only dreamed of. Next year, a breathtaking exhibition will transport you directly into the heart of Pixar’s most beloved films, recreating iconic scenes with stunning detail.
“Mundo Pixar,” a multi-sensory experience, is arriving in London’s Wembley area on February 13th. This isn’t just viewing movie sets; it’s about inhabiting them, feeling the magic, and reliving those cherished moments.
Imagine standing in Andy’s bedroom fromToy Story, surrounded by the familiar toys and the warmth of childhood. Or perhaps floating alongside Carl’s house fromUp, carried by a vibrant cascade of balloons. The Scare Floor fromMonsters, Inc.will also come to life, complete with its chaotic energy.
Fourteen distinct scenes from Pixar classics – includingCoco,Inside Out, andFinding Nemo– will be meticulously recreated. These aren’t mere replicas; they are immersive environments designed to evoke powerful emotions and a sense of wonder.
The exhibition will feature 25 life-size and scaled-up sculptures of your favorite Pixar characters, filling a specially constructed 3,500-square-foot venue. Visitors will be encouraged to interact with the sets, touching props and experiencing the environments firsthand.
Beyond the visual spectacle, “Mundo Pixar” engages all the senses. Each room will be filled with the iconic music from the films, and subtly infused with specially crafted scents designed to enhance the immersive experience.
While the focus is on the beauty and detail of the sets themselves, a playful treasure hunt adds an extra layer of engagement. Guests can search for the elusive Luxo Ball – the yellow ball with a blue stripe and red star that has appeared in countless Pixar films.
Having already captivated audiences in Brazil, Mexico, Belgium, and Spain – with over 3.2 million tickets sold – “Mundo Pixar” is renowned for the artistry and emotional resonance of its environments. The London edition promises a brand new room, adding an element of surprise for returning fans.
