Russiagate EXPLODES: Top Prosecutors QUIT in SCANDAL!

A shadow is falling across the landscape of the Russiagate investigation, but this time, the focus isn’t on alleged foreign interference – it’s on those who investigated it. Subpoenas are now being served, and a quiet exodus is underway within the ranks of federal prosecutors.

The investigation, centered in the Southern District of Florida and led by US Attorney Jason Reding Quiñones, began quietly this summer. Initial reports indicated scrutiny on key figures from the Obama administration, including former FBI Director James Comey and ex-CIA Director John Brennan. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe reportedly referred both men for potential prosecution.

The scope of the inquiry is now becoming startlingly clear. A federal grand jury has issued subpoenas to a trio of individuals intimately involved in the early stages of the Trump-Russia probe: John Brennan, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, and former FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok. Sources indicate a total of thirty subpoenas have been delivered.

Peter Strzok’s name is already synonymous with controversy. He was terminated from the FBI in 2018 after it was revealed he’d violated bureau policies while initiating the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. His actions sparked intense debate about political bias within the FBI.

The revelations didn’t stop with procedural violations. Text messages exchanged between Strzok and Lisa Page, with whom he was having an affair, painted a disturbing picture of personal animus towards Donald Trump and a concerted effort to undermine his candidacy. They discussed a clandestine “insurance policy” – a plan to prevent Trump from ever reaching the White House.

In one August 2016 exchange, Strzok described the plan to Andrew McCabe as a safeguard “in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.” The chilling implication was a backup strategy to remove Trump from power should he win the election. Other messages revealed explicit contempt for the then-candidate.

Lisa Page, like Strzok, ultimately left the FBI amidst the fallout. Now, both are facing renewed scrutiny as part of this widening investigation. The questions surrounding their actions and motivations are being revisited with a new level of intensity.

However, the subpoenas aren’t the only sign of upheaval. Two junior prosecutors within the Southern District of Florida have reportedly resigned from the Russiagate probe, signaling deep internal discord. The departures prompted a unit-wide meeting led by US Attorney Quiñones.

One of the resigning prosecutors reportedly cited ethical concerns, stating they “felt like there was something they could not take part in because it would violate their ethical responsibilities.” This suggests a growing discomfort with the direction of the investigation and the potential implications of its findings.

The resignations, coupled with the flurry of subpoenas, are fueling speculation about a vast conspiracy and a potential cover-up. The unfolding events suggest the investigation is closing in on something significant, and the consequences could be far-reaching.
