OKLAHOMA THREAT: Feds Targeted – Manhunt Underway!

A chilling image surfaced Friday, revealing the arrest of a suspect accused of directly threatening federal law enforcement officers. The suspect, now in custody thanks to a Homeland Security Investigations officer, allegedly unleashed a torrent of violent rhetoric online.

The accusations against Logan Murfin of Tulsa, Oklahoma, are stark. He faces ten separate charges stemming from social media posts explicitly calling for the deaths of federal agents, using language that authorities deemed a clear and present danger.

According to officials, Murfin didn’t simply express anger; he actively advocated for violence. His posts reportedly urged others to arm themselves and kill agents on sight, claiming they “don’t deserve to live.”

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma detailed the charges: five counts of threatening to assault and murder federal officers with the intent to impede their duties, and five counts of interstate communication containing threats to injure.

Court documents paint a disturbing picture of escalating threats. Murfin allegedly posted multiple statements advocating for the assault and murder of those sworn to uphold the law, leaving no room for ambiguity in his intent.

The arrest took place against a backdrop of unexpected contrast – a holiday decoration displaying “Season’s Greetings” visible in the background of the arrest photo. This juxtaposition underscored the gravity of the situation, highlighting the stark difference between festive cheer and violent extremism.

Authorities emphasized the seriousness of the crime, stating that threatening a federal agent is a felony. The swift action taken by Homeland Security Investigations demonstrates a zero-tolerance policy towards such threats.
