In Hamilton, a 41‑year‑old man was charged with aggravated assault and arson following a stabbing incident that occurred early Saturday morning near Fennell Avenue East and East 26th Street. A man was located and arrested without incident, and the street was temporarily closed while forensic teams processed the scene.

Earlier that morning, Hamilton police investigated a home invasion on Rymal Road East and Arrowhead Drive. Three masked men forced entry into a unit at 565 Rymal Road East, one armed with a firearm, and demanded money from occupants. The suspects fled in a dark sedan, possibly a Honda Civic. Police are seeking witnesses and security footage to identify the perpetrators.

The program has identified a series of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts in May near Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road East. Search warrants were executed at homes in Mississauga and Erin, seizing cell phones, key fobs, and cash believed to be proceeds of crime. A 21‑year‑old was charged with 22 offences, while a 23‑year‑old turned himself in after a warrant was issued. Both are awaiting bail hearings in Brampton.
On Wednesday evening, Toronto police responded to a stabbing report at Woodbine Beach.
