STARZ offers one of the best values of any streaming service we've tested, and the platform's affordable prices don't come at the expense of its wide library of content. With hit series like "BMF," "Outlander," "The White Queen," and more, there's something for everyone. Plus, with the current STARZ deal, a monthly or annual subscription just got even more affordable.
While the deal lasts, STARZ is offering new subscribers one year of streaming for just $29.99 if they opt for the annual payment plan or three months for $4.99 a month if they opt for the monthly payment plan. While this isn't the best STARZ deal we've seen this year, we rarely see subscription prices drop much lower. The streamer hasn't posted an official end date for the deal, so we suggest acting fast to ensure you lock in the discounted price.
In addition to a wide selection of hit series, a subscription will also give you access to popular movies like "Spider-Man: No Way Home," "Superbad," "Fast X," "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," "Five Nights at Freddy's," and more. Keep in mind that the current discount is only valid for the first year of your subscription if you choose the annual plan or the first three months if you choose the monthly plan. The annual deal also requires you to pay for the full year upfront. Once the deal window has passed, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-standard price (right now, that's $69.99 a year for the annual plan or $10.99 a month for the monthly plan). Can current STARZ subscribers get the discount?
The monthly STARZ deal is valid for new subscribers, and the annual STARZ deal is available for new and previous STARZ subscribers who re-subscribe via the STARZ website.
Does STARZ offer a free trial?
At the time of writing, STARZ does not offer a free trial on its website. However, you can get a weeklong free trial of the service if you subscribe through another streaming app like Hulu or Prime Video. Keep in mind that you won't be eligible for the current STARZ discount unless you subscribe directly through the STARZ website.
Should I get the monthly or annual STARZ deal?
If you plan to keep your STARZ subscription long term, the annual deal is a much better value. For reference, if you opt for the monthly deal but choose to keep your subscription for a full year, you'll pay $101.88 for the year as opposed to the $11.99 if you choose the annual plan to begin with. That said, the annual deal requires you to pre-pay for all 12 months, so the monthly deal may be a better choice if you don't plan to keep the subscription for more than three months.
