The final day of Toronto’s Salsa on St. Clair festival was canceled after a shooting incident on Saturday night.

Authorities recovered two firearms and a vehicle that left the area. Emergency personnel performed chest compressions on a victim.
Festival organizers expressed shock and condolences to the families of those killed and injured, and confirmed the event would not resume.
The provincial premier expressed devastation over the violence and called for the perpetrator to be brought to justice.
The mayor condemned the shooting, pledged resources to locate those responsible, and vowed to keep working to remove guns from the streets.
A city council candidate described the incident as mortifying, adding to the community’s condemnation.
No suspect information is available, and officials advise people to stay away from the area.
