Boeing 737 crew missing after wreckage found; search underway.

A cargo aircraft vanished over the Arabian Sea, triggering immediate search and rescue efforts.

Experts noted the aircraft's sudden descent as atypical, given that a plane experiencing engine failure usually glides rather than drops abruptly.

The flight had departed from Turbat, located roughly 270 miles west of Karachi, to carry cargo to an undisclosed destination.

K2 Airways, which began operations in 2018, received its first Boeing 737-400SF on July 1, 2024.

Military and civilian authorities were mobilized to conduct the search, focusing on the area of the disappearance.

A Pakistan Navy ATR aircraft was dispatched from Turbat to assist in the recovery mission.

Investigations continue, and officials have yet to release further details about the cause of the incident.
