TRUCK ATTACK: Victim Fights For Life, Violent Suspect On The Run!

A Friday evening walk turned into a desperate fight for survival when a man was struck by a delivery truck in downtown Toronto. The collision occurred just after 6:30 p.m. near Yonge and Gould Streets, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries.

Police report the 38-year-old pedestrian was walking behind a business when a 70-year-old driver, reversing into a loading dock, failed to see him. The impact sent shockwaves through the area, immediately summoning emergency services to the scene.

Paramedics rushed the injured man to a hospital, where doctors are battling to save his life. The truck driver remained at the location, cooperating with investigators as they began piecing together the events.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a woman’s life ended tragically after being struck by a pick-up truck in Ajax. The 57-year-old was crossing Kingston Rd. W. and Ritchie Ave. on Thursday morning when the collision occurred.

Despite the driver’s cooperation and a thorough investigation, the woman succumbed to her injuries on Saturday. Durham Regional Police are now appealing to the public for any footage or information related to the incident.

Toronto Police are also seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for a brutal assault on Thursday morning. A woman was attacked on a sidewalk near Vaughan Rd. and St. Clair Ave. W., suffering life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, described as a man between 25 and 35 with long black braids, fled northbound after leaving the victim on the ground. He was last seen wearing a distinctive black bomber jacket with NBA logos, Adidas track pants, and Nike Air Jordan shoes.

Investigators have released images of the suspect, hoping someone will recognize him and come forward with information. Each case underscores the fragility of life and the urgent need for vigilance on our streets.
