Here are the donors contributing to Trump’s White House ballroom
Heavy machinery began tearing down a section of the East Wing of the White House as construction commenced on President Donald Trump's planned ballroom.

The White House has released a list of donors who contributed to President Donald Trump’s new ballroom, amid a backlash over the demolition of the decades-old East Wing to make way for the project.

Wealthy individuals, tech companies and other corporations are among the more than 30 donors to have contributed to the planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom, which is now estimated to cost $300 million, according to the White House.

The donations are being managed by the Trust for the National Mall, a nonprofit that helps manage federal projects.
