SYNAGOGUE HORROR: Brutal Stabbing Claims Life!

The holiest day in Judaism became a scene of unimaginable horror. A violent attack unfolded, shattering the peace of Yom Kippur and leaving a community reeling. Two men, caught in the crossfire of senseless brutality, lost their lives.

Adrian Daulby, a man remembered as a hero, tragically died attempting to shield others from harm. His family described him as a beloved brother, a devoted uncle, and a cherished cousin – a down-to-earth man whose sudden loss has left an unfillable void. The shock of his death reverberates through all who knew him.

Melvin Cravitz, a synagogue security guard, also fell victim to the violence. He was defending the sanctity of the building, bravely attempting to prevent the attacker from gaining entry. Those who knew him speak of his unwavering kindness, his genuine care for others, and his deep devotion to his wife and family.

The attacker, identified as Jihad Al-Shamie, was neutralized by police at the scene. Three others sustained serious injuries during the assault in Crumpsall, adding to the scale of the tragedy. The community now grapples with the aftermath of the devastating event.

The police investigation continues at the scene near Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester, where two people died in a terror attack. Three people have been arrested on suspicion of planning a terror attack in connection with the killings carried out by Jihad Al-Shamie, who was shot dead by police seven minutes after officers were alerted to the attack on Thursday morning. Details emerged revealing Al-Shamie was out on bail, facing a rape allegation at the time of the attack. Though arrested on suspicion, he had not yet been charged. This information adds another layer of complexity to an already heartbreaking situation.

In the wake of the attack, King Charles visited the site, offering solace and support to the community. He met with Rabbi Daniel Walker, whose quick thinking and decisive action – barricading the doors of Heaton Park Synagogue – likely prevented an even greater catastrophe.

The King expressed his profound sadness to the group, which included Alan Levy, the synagogue’s chairman, who also assisted in securing the building. His words offered a small measure of comfort amidst overwhelming grief and fear. The community mourns, remembers, and begins the long process of healing.
