The catalyst for “Arctic Frost” was the submission of alternate electors by the Trump campaign in 2020. This prompted the Biden Justice Department to launch a full-scale investigation encompassing hundreds of individuals and organizations, raising questions about the breadth of the inquiry.
On August 1, 2023, Jack Smith announced four charges against former President Trump related to his investigation into the 2020 election. However, newly revealed information suggests the investigation’s reach was significantly broader than initially understood.
