A suspect is in custody for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at a man in a wheelchair in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The apparent random attack occurred on July 2 at approximately 8 a.m. near the intersection of two streets, directly across from the Oklahoma City Police Department's headquarters.
Disturbing surveillance video shows the wheelchair user crossing the intersection while a pedestrian, carrying what appears to be a white plastic bag, is seen nearby crossing the street in a different direction.

The pedestrian quickly turns around, approaches the victim, and allegedly lights something before hurling the incendiary device at the man in the wheelchair, setting him ablaze.
The victim tries to move away from the fire, but the suspect appears to return to him and push his chair back into the flames.
Bystanders, including OKCPD detectives, rush to help the victim and pull him away from the fire, and one of the officers takes down the suspect and detains him at the scene.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department arrives to provide crucial medical aid, and the victim is expected to recover with minor injuries.
The suspect, 38-year-old Alexander Emery, faces multiple felony charges, including assault with intent to kill and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
A motive for the incident has not been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing.
