Hunter Biden Says America's Biggest Problem Is Political Division

Hunter Biden has asserted that Washington, D.C. is controlled by what he described as a "closeted gay mafia" of largely Republican figures.

Speaking on a podcast, Biden claimed the greatest problem in the federal government is not oligarchic influence but a "closetocracy" operating within the capital.

He stated he lived in Washington for two decades and is certain of the existence of this group, arguing that internal conflict among closeted individuals generates widespread hostility.

Biden contended that such individuals direct personal turmoil outward, affecting public life and policy through sustained repression.

The remarks arrive amid longstanding Democratic control of the District, including its mayor, city council, and a predominantly left-leaning federal workforce.

His characterization of a covert Republican power structure contrasts with the city's electoral and bureaucratic composition.

The comments have drawn attention for their framing of sexual identity as a source of institutional dysfunction within government.
