Police in the Ottawa Valley have stepped up efforts to solve a cold‑case homicide by offering a $50,000 reward and installing a billboard to seek witness testimony.
The billboard, located at the intersection of Highway 60 and Innovation Drive, displays a portrait of 41‑year‑old Jonathan Logan, the victim of a fatal shooting on May 19, 2023, at his home on Vimy Boulevard in Renfrew.
Authorities say the suspect fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large. They believe Logan was deliberately targeted and are confident that someone in the community holds crucial information.

Law enforcement officials have urged anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward, emphasizing that the community’s cooperation is essential for closure.
Logan’s mother has called on witnesses to step up, noting that many people in the area may possess key details that could help crack the case.
The billboard lists the reward amount and provides instructions for contacting the Renfrew OPP and Crime Stoppers for tips.

Individuals with information can call the Renfrew OPP at 1‑888‑310‑1122 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑8477.
Det‑Insp. Erin Thomas of the OPP’s criminal investigation branch stated that the department remains committed to finding answers for Logan’s family, friends, and the Renfrew community.
The case has sparked discussions about substance abuse and public safety in the region, underscoring the need for community vigilance.
Investigators continue to pursue leads and encourage anyone with relevant information to provide it promptly.
