Influencer Connor Murphy drowned in a lake near Bangkok on July 7, after a period of erratic behavior that prompted a police call.
Police discovered a disturbing scene at the luxury rental he shared with his girlfriend, Bee. The kitchen was covered in a black tar‑like substance, while piles of grimy trash and heavily stained couches littered the living area.
The high‑end home, valued at approximately $658,000, featured walls streaked with gray and yellow paint and a cluttered kitchen filled with pots, tools, and appliances coated in grime.
Witnesses reported that Murphy had argued with a security guard before jumping into a lake that was more than ten meters deep. He swam for several minutes before losing strength, and divers located his body about twenty meters from the shore after a thirty‑minute search.
Investigators found no visible signs of assault. Murphy’s body was transported to a hospital for a post‑mortem examination, with full autopsy and toxicology results pending.
Bee told police that the damage appeared to have occurred overnight while she slept in another room of the property.
With a following of over 2.7 million across YouTube and Instagram, Murphy was known for bodybuilding and fitness content and was involved in a community focused on physical improvement.
The investigation remains ongoing.
