Morgan Rogers has agreed to a six-year contract with Chelsea, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. A medical is scheduled for Monday.
Xabi Alonso is reported to have played a key role in convincing Rogers to join the club. Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League last season and will not participate in European competitions in the upcoming campaign.
Rogers will become Chelsea's second signing of the summer. The club previously completed a £47 million deal for Atalanta right-back Marco Palestra earlier this month.
