The U.S. Central Command has launched its seventh consecutive night of precision strikes against strategic Iranian military sites, according to a press release issued on July 17, 2026.
The strikes, which lasted for roughly six and a half hours, targeted surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities, employing a range of assets including fighter aircraft, aerial drones, and warships.
Following the completion of the strikes, U.S. Central Command emphasized its commitment to holding Iran accountable for its actions, while also enforcing a naval blockade against Iranian ports.

With over 50,000 American service members operating across the Middle East, the U.S. military remains vigilant, lethal, and ready to respond to any potential threats.
In response to the U.S. strikes, Iran has retaliated by launching attacks on several countries in the region, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Oman.
Reports have emerged of multiple U.S. servicemembers being injured in Iranian attacks on two Jordanian bases, highlighting the escalating tensions between the two nations.
