A 53-year-old Ajax man is facing numerous charges after a Toronto Police probe into human trafficking began in September.
Cops alleged that, through a combination of deception, coercion and control, the accused trafficked a 16-year-old female victim.
Police alleged that the money earned by the victim was given to the accused and was kept by him, and she was forced to take sexualized pictures which were used to distribute online and taken to a Toronto hotel where she was forced to meet clients for sexual services.
On Thursday, police executed two search warrants at an address in Ajax.
Rocchino Perrotto was charged with 10 trafficking, procuring, and child pornography-related charges plus one of forcible confinement.
Investigators believe that there may be more victims and have released the accused’s image.

TRICK OR TREAT
Sometimes a Halloween costume is too good.
Barrie Police responded to a report of a suspicious person lurking in the darkness between two residences located on Nelson St. around 12:05 a.m. on Friday morning.
Responding officers were told that the suspicious person was wearing a long black coat, had on a mask of some type, and that their hair appeared to be tied back.
Upon arrival, police found a male simply trying out his Halloween costume.
Needless to say, the responding officers reassured the man that his costume selection was a good one and that his own neighbour didn’t recognize him.
