In a separate investigation, Toronto Police are seeking a woman connected to a series of hate-motivated acts of vandalism targeting the city’s transit system. Graffiti containing anti-Indian messaging appeared at numerous TTC stations and on subway cars between July and December.
The suspect was last seen on December 21st wearing earmuffs, a long black coat, brown boots, and a white and brown scarf. Authorities believe these acts were driven by hate and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
