PARAMEDIC'S SHAMEFUL LIE: Facebook EXPOSES Sickening Betrayal!

A former paramedic fabricated a disturbing tale of her sister’s declining health, all to secure precious time off during the Christmas season. Natalie Twomey’s deception began with a false claim of her sister’s deteriorating condition, a calculated move to manipulate her work schedule and personal time.

When confronted, Twomey attempted to deflect blame, falsely alleging her brother-in-law authored the misleading post. However, investigators quickly uncovered the truth: she was fully aware her sister was in good health, and the entire narrative was a fabrication.

This wasn’t an isolated incident. On a separate occasion, Twomey was removed from active duty after arriving at work visibly impaired by alcohol. The incident raised serious concerns about her fitness to practice and her commitment to patient safety.

A paramedic who lied about her sister being in intensive care to go and see her at Christmas has been struck off.Natalie Twomey emailed her bosses in the ambulance service to tell them that her sister had 'deteriorated' and she needed to be with her. However they found that her sister had put out Facebook posts with her decorated house and memories of their previous trip to Mexico.

Her employment ultimately ended in November 2023 when she reported to work under the influence. Crucially, Twomey failed to disclose her dismissal to the Health & Care Professional Tribunal Service while attempting to renew her professional registration, further compounding her dishonesty.

To justify her absence from patient care, Twomey falsely claimed debilitating back and knee injuries. This deliberate misrepresentation aimed to conceal the true reasons for her unavailability and protect her professional standing.

The pattern of deceit continued into 2024. In April, she received a driving ban after being apprehended while operating a vehicle while intoxicated, demonstrating a reckless disregard for public safety.

A thorough review of Twomey’s professional conduct revealed a consistent pattern of lies spanning from 2022 to 2024. The investigation uncovered a deeply troubling trend of dishonesty, impacting both her employers and the regulatory body.

The report concluded that Twomey’s actions were not mere lapses in judgment, but “deliberate dishonesty, for personal gain,” sustained over an extended period. Ten separate instances of dishonesty were identified, painting a clear picture of calculated deception.

The tribunal panel emphasized the “long-standing and deep-seated” nature of Twomey’s dishonest behavior, highlighting the severity and persistence of her actions. Her repeated attempts to mislead and manipulate revealed a profound breach of trust.
