MASKED SINGER REBOOT: Prepare for CHAOS!

The wildly popular guessing game,The Masked Singer, is returning with a new season promising even more mystery and spectacle. Following a festive special that crowned Dermot O’Leary as Mistletoe, anticipation is building for the latest batch of disguised celebrities.

This season introduces a groundbreaking twist:The Masked Singer Band. For the first two episodes, the panel of judges won’t just be deciphering individual masked performers, but also attempting to unmask the lead singer within a fully formed band. The energy on set is palpable, according to host Joel Dommett.

First to take the stage will be Goldfish, performing as part of “No Trout,” followed by Emperor Penguin as a member of “Antarctic Funkeys.” These elaborate costumes are just a glimpse of the creativity in store, designed to completely obscure the identities of well-known faces.

Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross all pose in a promo shot for The Masked Singer UK.

The judging panel – Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, and Maya Jama – face a formidable challenge. Four unmaskings are planned for the opening weekend, with Joel hinting that the reveals will be “pretty substantial.”

Joining the lineup are a host of intriguing characters, each with a carefully crafted persona. Prepare to encounter Conkers, Moth, Red Panda, and Arctic Fox, alongside Monkey Business, Yak, and Sloth. The costumes are designed to mislead, sparking endless debate among viewers.

Could Moth represent someone drawn to the spotlight, like a former talent show contestant? Or perhaps Can of Worms hints at a familiar face from the world of reality television? Maya Jama even revealed she shared a dance with one of the performers, adding another layer of intrigue.
