Police responded with urgency after a frantic 911 call came in around 10:45 a.m., reporting a woman found injured on the trail. Officers arrived within two minutes, discovering a 50-year-old victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Immediate aid was administered before she was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
